Fun, but maybe I'm getting old because I wish the lead singer would stick to the actual melody of the verses and stop noodling.

They recorded an EP at the Blasting Room, surprised they didn't just announce it but it is coming

 

It's always so weird to me when bands drop a random single that's pretty likely part of a bigger project (EP, LP, whatever) and they don't announce it all at that same time. I'm sure there's a rhyme to that reason but I can't figure out what that might be. LOL

This is great! Creative parts and fresh songwriting. Love this band to death but Silver Linings just doesn't do it for me at all except for a few moments - this excels imo.
I miss Vinnies contributions but Matt is a way more creative and rhythmical drummer which is always so refreshing to hear. Always makes me wonder what the rest of the discog would be like with more creativity on the kit.

 

I wasn’t huge on Silver Linings either, hope this next release rights the ship. Off to a good start

 

yah silver linings didn't hold my attention the way i wished it had, it was just whatever for me.

 

Agreed about Silver Linings…it’s missing what makes me love LTJ. This new song sounds great though.

 

I really like Silver Linings. It has about 5 songs that I love that made it into my LTJ Favorites playlist.
