I’m surprised at how much less I listen to my sennheisers now that I have the AirPods Pro 2, but I’d be tempted to spring for Max is they came out with a proper red.

 

I'm still so fucking annoyed that Sonoma limited the recently added view on the Music app to just 60 - it really hinders how I make my EOTY list.

thankfully (yet still annoying) logging into Apple Music via Safari brings it back somewhat - it goes to 150 instead of 60

I honestly might downgrade to Ventura temporarily just to get recently viewed back

 

I'm using an old MacBook Pro on Big Sur for this exact purpose. Dumb, but grateful it works.

I recently bought a MBP (2021) with Ventura. The Recently Added crime will probably keep me from upgrading as I’ve seen myself testing new OS features less and less over the past few years anyway, but I am curious - how do people generally like Sonoma otherwise and which features are you finding most useful? Anything you’ll miss by downgrading?

 

I'm so mad that they got rid of the option to sort by recently added in the iOS Music app.

 

Every music fan I know hates that change. It makes no sense to limit it like that anywhere.

shoutout to Marvis on iOS for still being the best music player and the AM team should give me a lot of money to come in and tell them where they’re messing up.

I wanted to give an update on my phone case situation because I had a little change of heart and I'm eating crow. As I was on the search for a new case, a friend lent me their Apple silicone case as a temporary fix. I have to admit, while those cases are nice and soft to hold, they're not the best when it comes to durability, especially for someone as clumsy as me. Just one drop and it would be gouged, just like previous Apple cases I've had.

Here's the surprise: I received an email from Caudabe, apologizing for their mistake, and they even gave me a 30% off coupon. Surprisingly, I decided to give them another chance and ordered their Synthesis case after watching \ YouTube reviews. And you know what? I love it! It fits my phone perfectly and it's definitely the best case for me. Of course, I still believe Caudabe's customer service could use some improvement, but hey, at least the 30% discount made me happy and I finally have a reliable case on my phone again. I know I was pretty harsh in my previous comments, but I wanted to be honest and own up to my mistake.

I got that same email and immediately thought of you lol. Wonder if a batch of those cases you bought first had a defect or something.

 

I think they might have. The Sheath case just didn’t fit properly around the phone, and I thought I was going crazy over it. Like, there’s no way the edges of that case were supposed to protrude outwards like they did.

either way, I think I’m a Synthesis case person moving forward. Glad the situation is resolved.

 

My wife got me an Apple Watch this week and I’m loving it but I cannot seem to figure out or find a watch face that has a leading 0 in the time other than 24 hour time setting. Anybody know of any or how to change this setting to always show a leading 0 when applicable?
