Apple Maps really be fucking up. I tried to find the testing center for my exam and it took me in circles going down unnecessary streets

 

Apple Maps sucks. I use google maps.

 

Google maps is worse. All the times I’ve used it, it look me to a completely different location

 

any time I’ve given someone directions to my house and the person has used Google maps, it takes them to a dead end road not even somewhat nearby. Apple maps has always worked fine tho. I say this knowing most people hate Apple maps

 

Not using Waze is a rookie move

 

Agreed, I’ve used Waze exclusively for years.

Can’t remember if I had terrible luck with Apple or Google, think it was always Apple that seemed to fuck up most often.

 

It's a better Google maps that monitors traffic, accidents, and cops, idk why someone would use something with less features

 

Downloaded Waze and it actually took me to my destination with less unnecessary side streets and much easier route with less stress!! And the icons are so cute lol

Apple Maps only started fucking up some months ago around when Siri voice stopped. I may have mentioned in the last that I’ll be driving on the freeway and it will tell me to “turn l/r on x street” when there’s literally no turn, I know where I’m going… I just need to remember how much closer my exit is. Or it will tell me to take some side street route. I always check the routes before I select which one I want to use

 

Aren't Google Maps and Waze basically the same thing these days? I thought Google bought them.

I don’t use Waze because the name annoys me. Google Maps is the way to go.

 

Let’s see if waze fails me. The only thing I hate so far is closing the app and ending the route. But I can’t trust Google and Apple pisses me off now

 

Not sure if it’s a feature to turn on but every time I use Waze, if I close the app without reaching the destination the next time I open it it asks if I want to continue the same route as before.

 

There is a dog in the third floor apartment above me that barks at dogs in the parking lot / sidewalk and I can’t figure out how it sees the dogs from the third floor. Each apartment has a patio but it’s solid stone/wood/whatever for the first 3 feet and the barking sounds like it comes from the apartment itself not the patio.

I assume the dog is sitting on furniture by the window and just stares down into the parking lot all day because it’s either that or the dog has a telescope or a periscope because idk how this dog always knows when there are dogs outside (unless the other dog barks or something)

 

Wordle keeps re directing me to a scammy Amazon site saying I won a prize

 

I use Waze and changed my settings so christina aguilera navigates me to my location and that makes it the winner

 

Waze definitely gives me different routes than Google does depending on traffic conditions

Anyways, it's still worth it for monitoring cops alone. Enough people use it where I live that it's accurate most of the time. I've avoided a lot of times I could've been pulled over

 

im a certified weirdo that needs to know the number and directions of all the major roads im on and ive found that google maps is best for that. plus waze would glitch sometimes for me.

 

The cop thing! One of them was monitoring speed the other day. Slowed down in plenty of time.

 

TIL the sports streamer DAZN is pronounced "Da Zone". I swear to god this entire time I thought it pronounced "Days Inn" like the hotel chain.
