I think they used to avoid leak on their last album too, i remember them streaming invented and damage on week before release, but without the album being leak.

It is pretty stunning that Chad Kroeger got to be on two different Santana songs. Not even Rob Thomas got that honor and "Smooth" was one of the biggest singles of all time.

Just to kind of tie this all together.. here is an interview where Jim talks about Nickelback and also confirms that he is most definitely not a fan, but there are Nickelback songs on his iPod (at least in 2008).

For the new dates it says a fan pre sale tomorrow on ticketmaster. How would one get access to that code? I'm already on the mailing list and preordered the album when it first was announced. Am I missing where it would be?

 

About 11 or 12 years ago here in the UK there used to be a children's show called 'Best Of Friends'. Five best friends had to go through three rounds of tasks and treats and the last treat was usually the best.

I'll never ever forget the episode where these kids won their last task and were 'treated' with tickets to a Nickelback gig. Poor things.

We're all bad people by some measures. We're all far less than perfect and all commit crimes of various measures. You don't have to be highly intelligent or low in intelligence to be able to admit that---but it would be quite foolish to think we're all "good people," like, just because we're not murderers.

You get it. I think I'm a horrible person. I've never killed anyone, but my self-esteem has been in the gutter for as long as I remember. Now, while I may feel I'm a horrible person, I'm not the sort of person that goes and leaks an advance copy of an album, the very receipt of which is viewed as a bond of trust between the recipient and label/PR/band. That's just flat-out shitty behaviour.

Glad that mark guy is finally gone. On par with some of the most braindead members I have ever come across. I haven't been posting in here lately b/c it was becoming increasingly bizarre and was veering into a YouTube comments section, lol. That all said, I am literally planning my weekend around being able to listen to Integrity Blues as much as possible.

 

Right. It's frustrating when you try to point out something that's a crime, or at least a mistake, and the response is "Are you saying I'm a bad person?" It's not like there's some dividing line where, Oh you've done with one bad thing, so now you've switched from the Light Side to the Dark Side. Nahhh. Not only do all humans exist somewhere on the spectrum between impossible perfection and utter depravity, but most people judge each other on their own personal standards of what makes someone "good." (Better yet, most peoples' standard of a good person is themselves, which means they're always a good person.)

On a personal level, I appreciate your willingness to share about your own self-esteem issues. My self-worth has been a wreck for years, and I would argue that coming to grips with that has less to do with convincing yourself you're so good and more with admitting and confessing just how screwed up you are.
