I was at the Nottingham show of that tour in 2002!

 

Both those line ups are great. I've seen them in the UK 3 times. First supported by Bouncing Souls, then NFG and then Jimmy Eat World & Taking Back Sunday. All so good looking back.

The UK emo/post-hardcore scene is as a whole, so many gems that all didn't get to crossover to the US or Europe

Good line up for sure, the UK doesn't usually get the same big line ups as the US.

 

Here's one I made that includes lesser known bands as well.

I'm also loose with the subgenres as some may be closer to alt rock or have switched styles afterwards (Deaf Havana, We Are The Ocean, Lower Than Atlantis, Young Guns...).

Green Day just did a gig at a 50-person London pub and streamed it on IG Live.

They played Walking Contradiction for the first time since 2001 and just 2nd time since 1996. my god.

As much as i LOVE tiny-gig surprise Green Day, i sure wish they'd do regular tours more than these big stadium experiences with the sure-to-be static set lists. this was wild
