Been meaning to do As Above, So Below and The Pyramid for a while now

 

Yeah I’ve always heard good things about AASB but never given it a shot

 

I know AA,SB has its fans, but it mostly gets shit on. It’s easily one of my favorite movies and I love it to death. Obviously not the greatest thing in the world, but I could rewatch endlessly

 

AASB is one of the best found footage films. absolutely rips

 

I haven't seen Pyramid but I have seen Triangle and I really liked it

 

do any of you guys know Attack the Block? great underrated British sci-fi horror. not super scary or anything but the acting is top notch and the monster design is really cool

 

I remember liking but not loving this one, would be interested in revisiting though!

I watched the new hell house llc but tbh it'd been too long since I watched the others so I feel like I missed a lot of lil connections and references.

 

I didn't realize it was part of a series lol do I need to see the others

I've only seen the first two, but I think the general connections are the hotel and the clowns? Could definitely be wrong

 

no you don’t, it’s just another Hercule Poirot detective movie, it’s not scary in the least though.

 

Yeah, I figured, mostly interested for the Halloween vibes if they're any good

 

I was browsing reddit and someone mentioned that Patrick was referenced in one of the other movies which I didn't realize. I don't think I missed anything massive to the plot but honestly I totally forgot about the cult angle lol so I should've at least skimmed the wiki for the general plots before watching cause I think it would have come together a bit more.

I also died at the end reveal of the clown at the carnival I'm sorry but what kind of children's carnival has clowns that creepy?! A small thing but I feel like they could've made it a thing where the mask started out normal clown like and got creepier as the cult went on idk but that was a haunted house clown not a carnival clown lmao

 

Also, the music that plays during that reveal shot is insane lmao

 

psyched, but I hope they get Whittaker back too or it won't be the same

 

Oh no now I'm trying to watch the newest Insidious and I can't remember much about the previous ones either. I'll never not get them mixed up with the Conjuring since Patrick is in both. He's so warm and reassuring in the Conjuring but unhinged in Insidious tho

Just got Evil Dead Rise on 4k/bluray (i don't have a 4k player) at Best Buy and It Lives Inside on dvd at Walmart for ten bucks each

 

Yeah idk what Best Buy is doing but it looks like it's the same price online as well if you wanna grab it also. Early black Friday deal I guess
