I'd be more inclined to go if Blink were to play TOYPAJ in full since they don't play the majority of those songs live. But obviously, Untitled would be the bigger draw.

I think WWWY poster should be a bunch of bands "celebrating" various albums, mainly just to read the complaints after.

 

That’s interesting. When I went in 2022, I distinctly felt like it had the least tangible sense of community of any fest I’ve ever attended.

that’s not to say it wasn’t fun— the bill spoke for itself and the acts were world class entertainment. But that’s all it was- entertainment.

it felt like a sea of tens of thousands of people who stopped going to shows years ago and were cosplaying to participate in a bit or get some sense of nostalgia.

Compared to Fest, Riot Fest, Punk in Drublic & various regional hardcore fests, WWWY feels very high budget and fun but also cooperate and inauthentic. It’s like going to Disney World with strangers while the other fests feel like going to summer camp with your friends

 

NEED a SoCo tour.

 

If the rumors here are getting featured on other sites now - I heard from a friend of a friend of a lover that 4 Non Blondes is touring with Wham! and Petey Pablo next year.
