AW2 does not sound like my kind of game.

I bought My Time At Sandrock on PS5 though and it's fucking crispy.

Yeah I generally hate collectibles in video games tbh, unless they’re integrated well into the gameplay. It’s just such boring padding 99% of the time, especially when there are multiple things to collect.

I love collectibles in games which is why the N64 is the greatest console ever made.

Today I learned there was a Dead Rising movie.

Released on Crackle of all places. Wild.

I also barely remembered that. I vaguely remembered it but I honestly thought it was a fan film. Being on crackle doesn't surprise me.

The first two games in that series are fun.

But imagine being like "yeah, I'll do the Bloodborne movie. My credits? I did a movie no one saw or knows about on Crackle."

I know I’ll be in the minority when it comes to collectibles, it’s why I don’t try to 100% a lot of games. Most games I’m just content on doing the story and side missions then move on to the next haha.

Last game I completed fully was Spider-Man a couple of years back and the last hour or so of mopping up stuff was just a chore for me

I feel like Spider-Man did the collectibles well referencing like past stuff and all that but there really isn’t many games I enjoy the collectibles in

I don’t mind hunting collectibles when it’s fun. The Spider-Man games have me swinging through the city, so I’m fine with it.

Kinda funny chatting Alan Wake 1 on the waypoint discord, everyone is dumping on the combat in that game but I've genuinely been loving it outside of a handful of fights that feel a bit too hard.

rolled credits on SM: Mr Morales. it was a great time, i love how his Venom powers added to the combat, though the last couple ones i never really used super often
and again, i think the "cinematic-ness" of the final fight kinda detracted from it for me

think i may try out Lies of P (on Gamepass) or something else before jumping into Spider-Man 2. don't wanna Spider myself out

you can't kill the ship services technician
if you hurt a civilian, companions in Constellation will become angry with you, which can be solved by either 1) asking for a second chance, 2) persuasion check or 3) them leaving
if you're married to Sarah, Andreja will turn down your advances, refusing to share you with someone else
if you initiate breaking things off with Sarah, you can either follow through with it (pick one of three reasons why), in which case she leaves, or you can say you were mistaken, and nothing happens
if you shoot a companion on your ship they'll eventually defend themself (obv) but the others will mostly just run away, except Jessamine who also becomes hostile
outside of the Constellation members I don't think the other companions react to you hurting a civilian unless they're your active companion

felt devious but didn't actually save. But anyway, Emily O'Brien and Cissy Jones are like really good in these roles. Made me feel really bad about breaking up with Sarah.

Well that’s Mafia 2’s main story done. I think I liked it even more than the first. Vito and Joe were a great duo and felt like they went through more together than the trio did in Mafia 1. The game was A LOT more buggier than the definitive edition of 1 though so that’s a shame

I liked the gunplay of 2 more but god some of the enemy AI is downright frustrating lmao. Multiple times they wouldn’t move and I had to basically get into their line of sight for it to work again.. which isn’t great when you can potentially die in a couple of shots even on normal difficulty
