the Boygenius crowd at the Hollywood Bowl on Halloween was decidedly unfamiliar with/scared by 100 Gecs, save for a few scattered enthusiasts

It's selling a litttttttle better than the New Kids on the Block show though. Just a tiny bit haha

 

Tickets came out 4 hours ago. The show is like 10 months from now. What's the hurry?

 

LOL. I thought everyone here was saying Creed was going to be filling these places up instantly? Definitely a Groupon tour.

 

tell that to every other big tour lately! but also, i assumed they went on sale at the top of the week haha. my bad.

 

The tour will probably do better once prices drop. The AAR tour sold like crap until they discounted every seat to $35-45 and then it sold well here. Announcing these tours before holiday season is a bit dumb.

 

Official sale began today. The presale started earlier this week.

Some other venues are over 50% sold already. The type of crowd that goes to a show like this is not the type of crowd that will log in to Ticketmaster during presale and sell out the place 9 months in advance.

Not surprised. It would also make sense if certain areas sell better than others. This tour will probably do great in the south/Midwest.

 

Toronto has sold very well for that Creed tour

 

When Creed did that last reunion tour in 2012 they only did a 2.2k cap venue in NYC (two nights though). So these venues definitely feel like a leap.

Oddly enough they arent even coming to NYC for this tour.
