anyone catch them at their recent run of shows so far on this tour? i’m going friday, but i’d love to know the setlist if anyone is aware of their set!

 

Vocals def muted down, great song, I always prefer louder vocals.

From instagram story clips, it looks like
Come Back Around, Win98, First Contact, Value, The Season.... I'd imagine there's likely something from Kodak too? Maybe Soma, DFR, or Sumter?
Something along those lines?

 

i have been using insta stories to get the same list as you so far! if it isn’t updated by time my show hits, i’ll let you know the full list. but, i’m guessing it’s probably what you mentioned exactly, and we’re probably missing 1-2 tracks from the same record.

This is the most they’ve leaned into the Y’allternative angle. Do not anticipate a lot of yelling in this. Honestly, this is the perfect album to listen to on vinyl as a collection of songs as opposed to individual tracks.
Long story short, I love it.

 

Kodak was my entry point for them and it's such an excellent fall record, so I'm super stoked for this one. In my brain November didn't start until next week, so it's a nice little surprise that this releases on Friday haha

 

Yeah this snuck up on me. Can't wait to spin this.

Mel Washington was the original guitarist. He’s on The Spitting EP/Self Titled EP and The Season.

 

Absolutely. When he sang at my wedding 5 1/2 year ago he had some of the album tracked. He may have scrapped that one though.

it is and turns out the record doesn't ship until feb so maybe i did order it? i definitely remember really liking that black shirt on their website with the album art at least..lol

 

I hate the album art. But if I like the music tomorrow I probably will.

 

Really? I actually dig it quite a bit (more than NB and their S/T EP tbh) but I think the record is awesome so hopefully you dig it too!
