I’m not sure you’d even sell out Aragon Ballroom for a trilogy tour.

  4. Don’t worry. They’d just play the first 3 songs and then would bust into the hits.

  5. Hey oh hey oh hey oh would take at least four song spots too.

I'd love an "Oops! All Hey-Oh's" tour.

FUCKIN SAVAGES IN THAT FUCKIN BOX Prestigious

They should just do a Bullet In A Bible anniversary tour

Only missing out on like 5 songs worth playing live since then

The hey-oh and other similar bits are so bad. They need to dump ALL of that

An inconsequential shift as the continents drift.

I cannot get Still Breathing out of my head since I listened to RevRad. goddamn that's a chorus

I 100% disagree....do you feel the same way for Freddie Mercury doing it with Queen?

I think it's a really fun way for crowd engagement....obviously they've been doing the same show for a while now but I don't think the crowd call backs are a problem

I will say that when I saw them (which was, admittedly, ten years ago now) the way they did crowd engagement was a bit repetitive - mostly consisting of "hey-oh" call and response during songs where the crowd are a bit quieter.

Nothing against crowd engagement, but want it to be as good as possible.

Yeah it can be cheesy and get old after a while but it is pretty funny to read people complaining about a band who is absolutely excellent live that tries actively to get the crowd into it as this communal sort of experience.

That’s how i felt in 2009 seeing them for the first time and their set this weekend was 80% the exact same 14 years later lol

    Great Googly Moogly Supporter

I love crowd engagement, every lead should be a showman. But if you cut the shit from green days set, you can easily play 5+ extra songs. Thats how bad it is.

    Not to mention the 15minutes intro....and the 15 minute shout/king for a day nonsense....and the 15minute kid/knowledge shtick...it adds up.

And then if you go and see them for a 2nd time and see it again!!! And again and again...its just the same old shit.

I like crowd banter. More so if it's a little off the cuff....more specific to the show thays being played...etc.

Memories are nice, but that's all they are. Prestigious

Like y’all realize those moments are a break for the band that usually plays almost 30 songs a night lol

Nailed it. Fill that time with deep cuts instead and you have yourself a perfect show

On a different note I really like the new song

  23. For Green Day, a lot of crowd interaction stuff, the band is still playing the entire time, so they're actually not taking a break at all during a lot of those extended songs/crowd participation parts.

American Dream. Look Ma No Hands is alright but it's obviously a B-side.
