It's like they are literally doing everything they can to release anything other than a new album. They want to keep selling stuff but can't put an album out. So over it. Wake me in 2050 when the album comes out.

 

At least it's interesting, appropriately timed merch (both with Halloween and the 10th anniversary shows). I get where you're coming from but really I think I'm at the point where I'm appreciating what we get.

 

Really trying to talk myself out of buying these..

 

So the real question is will my wife and I be allowed to wear these into the venue for their show on Halloween?

 

I almost bought it, but then I had that same conversation in my head and stopped myself. The only thing still drawing me in is the sentence "Collection includes each mask and more" which probably just means the t-shirt, but who knows!?

 

Glad you can enjoy it. It's become beyond obnoxious to me. I'd rather them go back to doing absolutely nothing than to have all these silly little "releases". When they finally announce the album in 2050 I won't believe it.

 

They're masks that you will probably never ever wear for more than 30 seconds?

That's my thoughts on them. Makes it an easy non purchase to me.

 

I'm guessing this has been planned for some time, since probably before they decided to scrap the album release.

 

It's the "and more" that pulled me in from the rational "I don't need to buy this" to "Dammit, I'm buying this."

 

I couldn't care less. I'm bitching about a band that can't get it together to put out an album anymore. Logic is not fueling my bitching.

 

They're collector's items and in a month, evil people will be making a lot of money off of them on eBay.

 

That's what justifies the cost to me. I could always sell it at cost to a real fan and make my money back if I turned out to actually regret the purchase.

 

All the more reason it's stupid to me.

They can and obviously will do whatever they want. It works for them.

I'm just one annoyed asshole. It doesn't matter what I think.
