I know Elfman imparticular since he started playing shows has been very in demand and I think at a fest it’s ok, cause you can go to another stage.

I would have no interest in seeing him but this is a mall goth fest and Danny Elfman composed songs for films that appeal to that crowd as well. So I get it. I may be wrong too.

GV saw how well Hans went over at Coachella and doubled down with Danny. Caught both sets and they were pretty great, very unique.

Really hoping we see a Trent Reznor/Atticus Ross set at a festival soon.

There's a dozen bands I'd LOVE to see on that lineup, plus another dozen I'd love to watch if I had time. I'm game as hell.

Besided Limp Biskit, I can see them booking Rob Zombie for 2025. Mike Shinoda playing a Linkin Park set would be cool too.

Also The Original Misfits wouldnt feel out of place in there for future editions, I think

Good call across the board. Though I don't think I see Mike Shinoda doing a "Linkin Park" set anytime soon... He'd be more likely to get booked solo and throw in a bunch of LP covers.

I also agree with you WRT the Original Misfits not looking out of place on a festival like this. Along the same lines, I could see some older hardcore/punk/metal crossover acts too (Suicidal Tendencies, Hatebreed, Orange 9mm if they ever get back together).

Mike currently has no interest in touring not even solo. All his focus is on new music and other projects he’s working on

I could also see them booking some more stoner, sludge and prog acts next year too. I think groups like Mastodon, Clutch, Fu Manchu, EYEHATEGOD, High On Fire or Crowbar would fit on a bill like this.

With shoegazy acts being on the bill too, Dinosaur Jr. would be a nice complement to the lineup also

Would love for a festival to be totally nu-metal centric and nothing else, because fuck yeah.

I don't even need a huge festival, just one day with 9-10 bands. And by god, please none of those stupid cruises. Why do I have to sail to Jamaica to see bands I love?

    What's everyone's to-see list?

System of a Down, Slipknot, Bring Me the Horizon, Knocked Loose, Baby Metal, Danny Elfman, Primus, Slowdive, Lorna Shore, Kublai Khan TX, Vein, Drain, Code Orange, Powerman 5000, Incendiary, Superheaven, Trash Talk, Better Lovers, Fury, Gel, and Spy all make this SUPER tempting.

I got to thinking about it, I wonder how Danny Elfman’s set will play out. Assuming he only has a limited set time, I’m thinking he only sticks with stuff from his solo album and Oingo Boingo songs. He’s played with an orchestra for his shows and I’m thinking that might be a bit inconvenient…

There's not quite enough to get me to this one but...

System of a Down, Slipknot, APC, Alice in Chains, Primus, Knocked Loose, Slowdive, Helmet, Drain, Vein, Taproot, Powerman 5000, Incendiary Better Lovers, Zulu, Gel, Fleshwater, and Static-X.

Kittie, Sevendust, Killing Joke, Code Orange, the Garden, BabyMetal, Nonpoint, and Superheaven would all be on my "if nothing better is going on" shortlist.

Was wondering about this. Only festival I could readily find for him was Coachella and I'd imagine that's a different beast...

$457 for one day when I also have to book a flight just feels like too much

It's way too much. Not to rain on anyone's parade, but I wouldn't pay half that even if I didn't have to travel and I'm a fan of a good chunk of these artists.

It's just too much in one day. If it were stretched over 2 days, it'd be a lot more appealing imo.

There's 5 stages, so at best you're only gonna be able to see 20% of the bands (which would require you be there for 12+ hours) - Not to mention you're buying tickets without knowing the set times so half of the bands you want to see are likely going to be playing simultaneously.

I'm sure it'll still be a great time, just too pricey.

If this were a two-day festival and all acts got a longer set time, then I think it might be justified. But all those acts crammed in one day with abbreviated sets? Eh… I don’t think that’s totally fair
