The Earl album unfortunately didn’t do much for me, nothing to grab onto. The Vince features were standouts for that reason. Some Rap Songs remains his opus IMO

Lately I've been enjoying Rah Digga, Bahamadia, a bit of Floetry, a bit of Res... I obv love Missy, but have been digging into the underrated female artists at the moment. Aside from women, I've recently been bumping a lot of Binary Star, Pharcyde, Digable Planets, De La... that sort of sound.

 

New MIKE, Westside Gunn and AJ Suede albums today. Two of which clock in at over 20 tracks. A lot to dig through today.

 

AJ Suede is such a good name, like CJ Fly or T.J. Swan

 

I have a buddy who’s rap name is AJ From The 9 which I also love lol

 

Probably won’t check out new Westside Gunn today but I’m excited.

 

New Westside Gunn is a mess. Sequenced badly with a fair few overbearing trap beats which he does not suit and they stand out like a sort thumb. Couldn't finish it.

Both MIKE and AJ Suede's albums are both really fucking good, though. On my second listen of the AJ Suede album already.
