NX probably won't get any third party support.

I'd say the NX gets at least the same third party support the 3DS does, meaning hardly any Western developers (except for certain indie developers) and a healthy amount of Japanese developers, as it will be the only handheld-like left on the market.

I'd prefer a new game... but, having said that, I also want an remastered re release of Redemption as well.

 

As someone who never owned a PS3 or 360, same.

 

After the next gen version of GTA5, I'm not sure I want to play a 3rd person Rockstar game anymore

 

I don't mind having the option of third person or 1st person, and it certainly depends on the game, but more often than not I prefer 3rd person. I like seeing the character.

Even with the 1st person mode in the next-gen version of GTA 5, I still played in 3rd person 90% of the time

 

So continuing my resident evil marathons ive been basically doing.... I ended up buying a PS1 from a retro video game store along side Resident evil 2 + 3 (the only two RE games beside's code veronica ive never played). Beat the LeonA scenario after a couple days of playing, then sat down Saturday and beat all of ClaireB in one sitting. For a game so old, it held up so well. Probably my favourite game experience this year. Onto Resident Evil 3 next....

ALSO, been playing gears4 on the side and loving it. I like how the campaign is very "low-key" in terms of plot. Its not full blown "SAVE THE WORLD FROM THE LOCUST!" , but your goals are a lot more personal to the characters. its perfect for a first game in (what i assume) is a new trilogy. It's helping me grow attached to these new characters. I went into this expecting to not like it, but i've been blown away so far.

 

Just started replaying REmake this weekend, ended up playing for 4-5 hours yesterday. Forgot how good it was and it really holds up, too. Honestly really looking forward to the potential RE2/RE3 remakes that Capcom has talked about, just hoping they don't royally screw them up.

 

Yeah I never played it unfortunately.

I've never played a lot of "classics".

If I played it though I'm sure I'd prefer a new game as well.

 

my biggest fear of REmake 2 is it becoming a 3rd person shooter with same controls as Resident Evil 6. I really really really hope they stick to the tank controls + fix camera angles.

 

Same unless my friend was driving and I was passenger or we were about to do something crazy on a dirt bike or jet.

 

Are GTA characters you play as ever customizable?

 

Not in story mode, outside of outfit swaps.

Though even the online mode had garbage character creation options.

 

Battlefield unlocks at 3am EST on PS4.

Literally unplayable.

Biggest disappointment with GTAO was the lack of beards.

 

I'm really hoping for a PC port/remaster to be announced alongside whatever this presumably new Red Dead game is but I'm just glad they're finally going back to the property. I love RDR so much, easily one of my favorite games of last gen.

 

RDR has a strong argument for game of last gen.

Others include, COD4, Bioshock, The Last of Us and Uncharted 2.
