RIP to any Noah Kahan fans today, apparently there are like 20K deep queues and I saw tickets for Boston are like $400 min

 

i got in, but once i saw that two decent tickets were going to be $500 after fees.... no way.

 

Noah Kahan tickets this morning was a bad time. Couldn’t get out of the waiting room fast enough to get 2 pavilion tickets.

 

Got four people trying to get tickets for an MSG show and we were just able to scoop four nosebleeds that were about $170 each. Thats the second most I've spent on a singular night of music in recent memory.

 

Noah Kahan will be able to retire after that tour lmao

 

Very wild that his tickets are costing that much cus it feels like he came out of nowhere like only a month ago?

NIVA Statement on Initiative to Squeeze Out Independent Venues

“Temporary measures may appear to help artists in the short run but actually can squeeze out independent venues which provide the lifeblood of many artists on thin margins. Independent venues and promoters are investing in and elevating up-and-coming artists every day, and NIVA is supporting those efforts nationally.

The initiative announced yesterday may seem like a move to follow the lead of some independent venues. It is not that.

“Instead, it appears to be a calculated attempt to use a publicly-traded conglomerate’s immeasurable resources to divert artists from independent venues and further consolidate control over the live entertainment sector. Such tactics threaten the vitality of small and medium-sized venues under 3000 capacity, many of which still struggle to keep their doors open.

“Independent stages, where the majority of artists, musicians, and comedians start their careers, are small businesses and nonprofits. They are continually facing rising costs, increased deceptive ticketing practices in the resale market, and ongoing challenges following the global pandemic. Our stages are critical to the live entertainment ecosystem and local economies, and they must survive.

“The economics of touring must drastically improve for artists and independent venues. There has to be a better way. NIVA will continue to support artists and empower independent venues as we collectively find it.”

 

I got two tickets for $167 after fees. There are two separate events on Ticketmaster, one for regular tickets and one for platinum. The regular ticket one brings you to the Fenway website which I don’t think people knew about so I was able to get tickets right away.

 

If white bread Noah Kahan is pricing tickets that high for this tour, he better have a Beyonce-esque production.

Singer/songwriters playing on a stage with a basic LED backdrop production should not be charging these prices.

 

I mean.........if it's selling well and additional dates are being added, no need to invest in all that extra production

 

A friend of a friend told me they didn’t enjoy a Morgan Wallen concert because he didn’t talk enough. You just need to talk to the crowd these days

those tickets are much more expensive than regular tickets and it’s only $1????

 

I feel bad saying this since I used to love TGI but I feel like a lot of the crowd will leave after Drain. Or the energy just won't be there for TGI after the crowd is drained from previous band.

 

They just reunited recently. Like within this year if I remember right.
