Yeah I’m beyond happy with both of these.
Walked out of the office as soon as my meetings were done, opened Spotify and yelled “TWO SONGS?!”
The construction workers across the street were confused. Lol

 

It's not I Miss You or What Went Wrong, or There Is, but IMHO it's great in another way, and I am not meaning from execution perspective. It's beautiful by being simple, and lyrically powerful.

 

I like OMT more than I Miss You lol

 

I won’t SAY the fact that my husband’s cell number ending in 182 was one of the reasons that pushed me to go one our first date 13 years ago but….

I’ll be interested to see the reactions of casual blink fans. I’m clearly biased because I’ve loved them since dude ranch came out, but what a payoff after the last year of waiting! So so good

 

OMT sounds like a nylon string guitar. I wonder if we’ll ever know.

Well, 3 are ALLEGEDLY joke songs. And we’re probably getting 1-2 more songs. So worse case scenario - 9 new songs?

 

I’m going to be amazed by how quickly these tracks climb my most played stats for the year.

 

Tom’s vocals in the bridge of MTYK are giving me Kiss With A Spell vibes.

 

Both songs are great. I’ve always been a casual listener of blink-182, but this return and the 2 new songs have this as my most anticipated album this fall.

 

Love these songs. But I’m ironically going through a massive Alkaline Trio/Matt Skiba and the Sekrets phase….weird timing.

 

Close to loving One More Time but just wish there was a bit more juice in the bridge/final chorus. Maybe that’s too traditional of me lol, but what they did on Home Is Such A Lonely Place is what I was expecting. (basically, more Travis)

But there’s definitely “More Travis” in More Than You Know, damn!!

 

Does nobody else think the 'this is not our album cover' thing is weird at this point? Streaming platforms, especially Spotify, are pretty on-the-ball when it comes to new releases. Why has it not been updated yet?

 

I’m very, very underwhelmed with what I heard today. Hopefully the rest of the album has catchy tunes

 

I really like the song, but I just wish they went electric guitar with it on the final chorus. It feels like it's leading to that.

 

The only thing I’m disappointed about was I was hoping that Mark would switch with Tom during the second chorus for More Than You Know. Also, the part in One More Time where Tom is singing about “do I have to die for you to say goodbye” or whatever feels like a Mark line because Mark was literally dying. Idk.

 

So many people concerned about the album art, do y'all stare at it while you're listening to the song?

 

It's a big deal to people. Blink have always had great album art.

I'm a visual person and the album art can very much set a tone for an album for me.
