Honestly never expected us to win this match and we defended mostly well, but definitely a few silly moments making it easy for PSG to score. Nmecha clearly not quite ready for these nights although I could see him getting there.

If we continue to be as harmless in front of goal as we were tonight, it's goin to be a long group stage and an even longer season.

 

Not just any goal either. The man made a world class run and an absolute bullet header.

 

Yeah, he was the only Lazio player that made the run in between like 5 Atleti players. That's a great goal for any player at any point in the game, but doing it in injury time as a keeper makes it even more special.

i also think there’s a balance issue we are sorting, and it will see us vary from game to game. We were incredibly fluent going forward last year, but we lost our solidity.

This year we have sought to completely control games, and we have, but we might be overcompensating. We have the lowest XGa other than City, and we’re both miles clear of the rest of the league. Same for field tilt. We’re controlling games, but we aren’t finding it as easy to finish them. Hopefully we can find the balance, and have it all click.
