So I now believe that it's Travis' vocals and not Kenny Hoopla, but he's clearly using Kenny's vocal effects. I can't be the only one who hears this.

Damn, I haven't felt the need or desire to do a playthrough on vinyl for the first playthrough in a minute. The release of this album feels warranted. That or a trail run. I fully expect it to be an emotional listen.

 

It kind of buries the lead with the title. You are supposed to listen "one more time"

Sounds like he's using the same vocal tools he uses on a lot of his hip hop/pop punk hybrid stuff. Used it with MGK too. Can't fault him - it helps the vocal and probably made him feel more confident about it.

 

They obviously weren’t going to put Kenny Hoopla on their big emotional comeback single. Not sure why you didn’t believe it was Travis?
