Both blink and TOP are cheesy. Seems like a fun pairing.

 

this is 100% accurate…they think it’s really revolutionary, blink is in on the joke and lean into it.

 

I like both TOP and Blink. I don't think TOP take themselves AS seriously as this thread lets on as I think it's more of the fanbase that takes them painfully seriously.

Yes Tom Delonge, someone known for not taking himself seriously and has never argued everything he does is revolutionary.

 

Yeah I mean any argument of "LOLZ Blink dudes are totally in on the joke and don't have any messiah complexes" is instantly put to rest after going through the first two Angels and Airwaves records

I could definitely see a Blink/TOP tour. I am fairly certain Josh and Travis are close and TOP covered for Blink last year overseas for festivals they missed out on.

I saw Finger Eleven and 10 Years last week. I guess it went so well that they are taking it to stadiums next.

 

Finger Eleven was one of my favorite bands in high school. First two albums still rule.

 

They still haven’t fully cleaned up after Blue Ridge.

 

No but seriously imagine it: You're seeing Blink-182 on a concert. Everyone is having a great time. Blink seem a little excited. "We have a surprise for you guys." Mark says. All of a sudden TOP come out and start singing "Car Radio." When Tyler gets to the chorus, someone else starts singing... "When I was a young boy my father took me into the city to see a marching band." Lights flash everywhere, and you see Blink singing "car radio" along with TOP, while MCR is singing "Black parade". Everyone in the crowd is going wild and crying. Then if things couldn't get any better, Dan and Phil walk onto stage and kiss, holding the gay flag.

 

Ugh

 

AND THEN...both Celine Dion and the Goo Goo Dolls come out performing "My Heart Will Go On" and "Iris" as a medley to provide continuation from when 21P covered both those songs on previous tours.

 

I don’t know why I expected this site to know the most infamous copypasta of 2013/2014 tumblr, but now I feel like I have to explain the joke so I don’t look like the weirdo who came up with it

 

And then the pop punk band breaks up
