You think Reddit would implode if it’s just a tour announcement today, but imagine it’s just more Funkos?

 

reminds me of the time MCR announced a make-up line for hot topic and the thread absolutely imploded on itself because it wasnt an album announcement.

MGK was set to open for Linkin Park and Blink in 2017 before Chester sadly passed

 

Yeah I wasn't positive why people were so sure today's announcement would be album-related. I mean it COULD be, but the it would be weird to me to already have a clock counting down until Thursday just to undermine it with an announcement today. Definitely keeping an open mind about what today's announcement could be.

 

I assume the announcement for today is to inform the general public with a video and official press release.

 

We'll get a teaser. I'm not expecting anything else.

 

I was helping out at a big race on pikes peak this weekend. Blasted NINE on the drive down and it was glorious. It has been my go to for the last 2-3 weeks. Nice send off to that record before we get some news and songs.

 

It would majorly suck if that tour was exclusively stadiums. Traveling 4 hours to Seattle for a show is not doable with work/kids and I’m not hugely into TOP. Portland got skipped on the arena tour and I was hoping they’d hit here on the next one.

 

An album teaser video with cover art, a tracklist, and a release date would be fine for me. Single drop later this week and a flood of press from now until October 20.

I doubt another tour is "BIG ANNOUNCE"

 

i'm looking nearly as forward to the zane lowe interview as i am the album announcement. i hope we get that soon.

 

doesn't the in-depth Zane interviews usually come out on the album's release date or soon after? i could be wrong, but i think that's at least how paramore's newest one went down.

 

I want an extended interview more than a single right now. If the album is coming Oct 20 I can wait for a front-to-back listen. Stoked to hear where each one of them is at and their take on this album.

 

Yea, I would want an in depth album discussion. If that’s what it is, it’ll come out after the album does.
