I felt the Question here was a little shitty/combative, but A.J confirms Matt is gone and the Lineup is AJ, Josh, Christian and a fill in guitarist. I thought in AJ's response he handled it well

Saw on their story yesterday, the next official release is a Deluxe version of All that is left of the blue sky

 

I thought they had announced the next album was on Rude Records already?

 

As far as I remember, they said Rude had the rights to Coming Home and the 2020 Blue Sky EP. Hence these re-imagines and Deluxe versions coming out. Gravity they said before they were trying to decide which label to go with. Also Gravity is with the same Producer as Coming Home, but unlike that one, it was recorded in his newly built Studio so hope it has a new fidelity and sound to it overall

 

Anyone going to the Colorado show tomorrow 9/9 with TDS and simple plan? Curious on how they will sound without Matt.

 

Do we know why Matt left? Not sure if I missed it

Not sure what the markup is from Hopeless, but I haven’t seen a 1xLP cheaper than $25 at a show recently, $35-40 for a 2xLP. Doesn’t seem outrageous, but what do I know.

Genuinely curious what this band did to piss off Hopeless that bad for this to be true lol. Otherwise, someone’s full of shit haha

 

It seems there he is saying it used to be 7 for them for each vinyl, now Hopeless charge them 14 for 1

 

A.j did call them out on Twitter for not paying them any royalties for reach for the sun. And showed how they recouped long ago based on the spotify streams alone. Then later he said that Hopeless finally sent a check lol so I guess that worked

 

Haha good for him then. If that’s the only way for him to get them to give a shit, whatever works haha

 

It’s ridiculous how labels try to inflate the cost they need to recoup from artists before they start writing checks.
Should just be the cost of studio time/recording. But they’ll be like “oh you came to the office for a label meeting and each drank a bottle of water - $37 added to your tab.”

 

I've seen a lot of back and forth, but I've seen a comment that said he isn't part of this tour..... well, this is the nail in the coffin. Peace matt ✌️

Yes I posted that he said this a few posts up ^ last week.. (not assuming everyone looks at every post)

 

Fill in could honestly mean anything, especially with the conflicting comments I have read. This is far more concrete. ETA: I'm a little surprised at how Matt hasn't said a single word. I wonder if he actually ever will.
