pleaseeeeeeee let them do a couple US festivals so I don't have to pay the headlining show prices. this might be one of the acts I'd rather see in the UK though, if they do a big run at Knebworth I'd think about going over there for it.

Speaking of Bad Omens, has anyone been to a show on their current headlining run? What's the crowd been like? I was considering trying to find a ticket for tonight in Pittsburgh but idk if I want to go to a show where 90% of the people there are there to hear one Tiktok song.

 

The crowd on the first date was dead for all the openers and then LOUD the whole set for Bad Omens.

 

Crowd for Nashville was lukewarm for I See Stars, lots of moshing during Erra to the detriment of some of the TikTok fans near me.

The crowd for Bad Omens overall was pretty good, a few annoying fans whenever moshing got more hectic for heavier songs or ducking when crowd surfers were coming.

The security for Nashville was A+ though. Passing out bottles of water from the barricade between every band, constantly checking to see if people were okay, jumping up on the barricade to let the crowd know that crowd surfers were coming in that direction, and pulling out multiple people from the front who were overwhelmed.

looks like that joji arena tour is gonna get canceled soon, and by the looks of it its about damn time.

most of these arenas haven't even sold entire sections of lower bowl and it starts this month

 

Have any dates been cancelled yet? I’ve been looking forward to the Charlotte show for months and would hate for it to be cancelled; but, I also wouldn’t mind recouping the money I spent.

 

I went on Tuesday and it was ROUGH. There were some tech issues with their screens right off the bat and then three songs in their guitars got messed up. Two songs later there was another tech mishap, then they had to stop the show three times due to fights over the course of the rest of the main act. There was a moment when noah went on a rant saying he could have "either tech issues or crowd issues and not both." By the end of their show, the top level of screens weren't working. Noah didn't even say bye to the audience.

and yes there were a lot of phones out recording, especially during just pretend, but i truly feel like that was the least of everyones concerns.

 

I was at Pittsburgh last night. Metalcore bros and Tik Tok fans msde up a good chunk. Perfect exampe is everyone who crowdsurfed filmed themselves doing it.

Bad Omens said it was their largest headling show ever with 5000 sold and honestly the crowd was fine overall, just packed in since the entire tour is sold out.

 

Damn I guess more artists should bitch about font size & reap the rewards 5 years later

Anyone else starting to get concerned with Covid rates going up again? Cancellations are happening again, I’m noticing way more people masking up again too. Does anyone else think we’ll get another bad wave?

 

While cases will certainly rise, especially as we get into the winter months, I don’t see any across the board cancellations. These venues/ticketing companies are making WAY too much money off shows now and bands lost way too much income for not touring for 2-3 years, so yeah, I don’t see anything crazy happening outside of bands cancelling a few shows if/when they test positive (if they’re still even testing…)
