Hot Hot Heat playing first on a radio festival side stage in 2003. bands after them were Finch, The Used, Transplants.
everyone booed when they were setting up their equipment & they whipped out a keyboard
if only they knew what was coming in the next few years

Man Tank the Tech’s video on Blue Ridge is absolutely wild. He’s tour managing Electric Callboy and the breakdown of the entire festival experience from a tour manager/bands perspective is fascinating. There is absolutely no way the promoters should be putting on a festival ever again.

    It's chaos. Be kind. Prestigious

The one date of the Just Friends tour that Bearings is still playing just got downgraded from a 950 cap venue to a 200 cap venue

Yikes, that's pretty brutal. Speaking of Bearings, I've been thinking that they'd take off (or at least grow in popularity) for a while but they just haven't yet. I'm kind of surprised.

Yikes for that Bearings show. Last time I saw them they headlined a sold out show at a 450 Cap in Toronto.

I mean just absolutely skimping at every possible avenue, not having the requested power sources for performances etc. those people have no business ever attempting to run anything again. I’m glad he told Sly to his face that it was horribly run.

It really sucks for the people who went, but hopefully, this is the death knell to ever allowing Slye to run anything event-related.

I just checked Blue Ridge’s website and you can already pre order 2024 campsites and tickets.

for anyone who actually falls for that, I have some lovely beachfront property in Kansas you might be interested in

Rumor has it this is a Spring/Summer tour. I know most won't care here. Weird mix.

Falling in Reverse / Bad Omens / Escape the Fate / The Word Alive / Point North

If true that will sell A LOT of tickets.

That’s a tour I’d avoid, lol. But for those to like that sort of thing, that’s a stacked lineup

I mean I feel like 3 out of the 4 support bands make sense. ETF's been playing the "remember when he was in our band, plz listen to us again" game for a while with FIR, Telle's been playing the suck up to Ronnie Radke for all he's worth game for a while, and Bad Omens being direct support to a small arena level scene band makes sense as their next step (just wish it was someone like Motionless in White instead but whatever). Point North is the only outlier to me.

Lead singer of Point North has produced/mixed several of FIR's recent songs, so that's probably why they're on.
