This album is their best yet, but the back half of the album slows down substantially.

 

"Are you the hands of a ticking clock? Are we okay when the ticking stops?"

I don't know why I love this line so much. It's just classic From Indian Lakes.

 

New things keep hitting me with each listen. Man. That last minute and a half of "Nome" is absolutely breathtaking.

 

These openers are horrid lol

 

This is my favorite thing they have put out, I had no clue it was coming. Heard it once through and immediately purchased on Vinyl. "Rid of it" crushes me, so damn good.

I really like this but it a def a mood album. Late rainy nights. Headphones.

I do miss the dynamics of the vox from earlier albums but you can tell he is making the album he wants.

 

idk i listened to this in the car on a bright sunny day the other day and it was amazing. also was amazing at night. im finding its just perfect for fall in general, as all of their albums are.

Yea just the first song the rest of it is definitely its own sound. I may disagree about this being better than Ixora but it is really good

 

Ixora is better than this, but this is great
