8/9 on the grid today. Had no clue on the Barca/Madrid box.

 

I made a clumsy mistake and cost myself a guess and then got one genuinely wrong, so finished with a 7. The only one I was drawing a blank on was Arsenal Ajax (and actually, I had a gut feeling which I convinced myself couldn't be right, when it was....). I got some pleasingly low percenters though.

 

I was struggling with Ajax Arsenal at first and then remembered they just signed someone from there a month ago lol

 

Even when I saw that was the most common answer, I was like "Who?!".

 

You didn't remember Bergkamp or even Overmars??

 

I did have Bergkamp on my mind but for some reason I doubted myself until I remembered Timber just happened lol

 

Bergkamp and Overmars are the two players who got me into football. God I’m old.

Thought todays grid was fun. Shout out Alexander Hleb.

 

A new one you could have used is Chuba Akpom!, a 1% answer (signed this summer and has made 1 appearance lol)

 

Got 4 answers at 1% or below on that grid but fucked up the easiest square (Netherlands + Ajax), happy with my answer of Robert Prosinecki for the Real + Barca square though, 0.3%!

 

I got a 1.0% for Netherlands + Barca with Winston Bogarde

 

Dani Olmo has been involved in some belters already this season.

 

The first one is exactly who I thought of first and then convinced myself otherwise.

Glad that you are not in charge then. International breaks are a necessity and it's already pretty difficult for national team coaches to find enough time to practice general tactical approaches.

 

Turner and Aaron get on really well, so it’s no surprise that he has only good words.

Turner is a good shot stopper, but had 0 chance of being our number one given how we play. Always liked him though, so rooting for him at Forest.
