He’s still very young, great pedigree, tall as fuck, and Klopp’s been a fan of him forever, so I trust the coaching staff to get the best out of him and revitalize his career after Bayern struggles. It should be easy to mesh in with the squad with Virgil, Gakpo, and Pep Lijnders

and he’s another midfield body, which is great to see after how helpless the midfield was last year. Nearly complete midfield rebuild, perhaps total if he can be molded into a proper stalwart 6. And if not, we still have Endo, and Bajcetic will hopefully continue to develop to become the nailed on future starter

Would kill for a depth signing for CB but doesn’t seem like anything will materialize within the next 24 hours

I hope it doesn’t bite us in the ass like a few years ago where Fabinho and Henderson were CB fill ins and Ozan Kabak was a desperation signing at the end of the winter window

 

Meanwhile, I'm disappointed to see Gravernberch go. Can't believe we never found time for him on the pitch. Would have rather seen us not sign Laimer or move Goretzka. Just can't help but think Gravenberch will be worth double this amount in 2 years with more consistent playtime.
