u know i always prefered the chase this light demo version of stop
even tho its more intended as a demo and is of lower quality recording wise

theres just this quietness to it that suits the song so well and it's honnesty

So happy with my decision to pre-order this album, based on these songs so far

 

I am totally digging what I'm hearing with these singles.

Saw JEW last Tuesday in Madison - man were they PURE live.

 

i like how they did the promotion of this record so right.
they understood how hard it is to get people attention
and instead of pre promotoing it for 9 months
they gave us this wonderfull joyride for the last 2 months or so
its been so well done

 

I was there! What a fucking show.

 

That's actually the perfect way to describe them live.

 

The title track on this thing is also something they've never tried before. It's almost a capella. Definitely Jim just flexing his vocal prowess and melody making. It's great

 

What time have these guys been going on stage for this your? Might be coming from work tonight

 

This sounds right up my alley.

 

One more week until I can hear 11 fresh songs from this wonderful band

 

I'm really impressed with the drumming and bass so far.

Damn, You Are Free is great. 4 for 4. Looks like this is gonna be a great return to form after a meh Damage.

Lyrically, Damage is some of Jim's best work. As a whole.... mehhhhh.

 

I think Damage is a really good album, but I definitely prefer the current direction. That's not a slight at Damage.
