Might be an unpopular opnion but I don't think the Acclaimed are great at wrestling. Love everything else about them but they are pretty generic in the ring, imo

 

definitely re: the women, my second surprise of the night after Ospreay/Jericho. Saraya's best match since her return, Britt's best in a long time, well-paced. trios was definitely down there with Punk/Joe, but man idk. we have seen Punk and Joe in the ring multiple times in the last couple of months, we knew Punk was going to win, the real world title thing is stupid, etc. honestly felt the least worthy match on the card for me.

i also truly loved how simple that trios finish was

 

Yeah the women's match was fun

 

That curb stomp was one of the coolest moments of the night

Bowens can go, but Caster is pretty rough. Can't really do much except for the elbow drop & he's good at taking bumps, which served him better as an annoying heel than a babyface. Reason why they're in the trios with Daddy Ass instead of going back to the tag team division. I think they would have been an upper tier team 10-15 years ago when the matches on TV were shorter, but even in WWE the matches are in the 12-15 range now.

We all think Punk is obnoxious now / has been, can you imagine this crabby asshole in 20, 30 years? Gonna be atrocious.

Although maybe benefit of the doubt - I don’t recall Punk supplying much headline material after he quit the E (besides the doctor/health stuff). If I’m remembering that correctly, hopefully it will be the same once he retires vs what most old retired wrestlers do from time to time and give their unnecessary opinions on how great things used to be

 

Bowens is definitely the better of the two for sure

 

someone on Reddit suggested AoP as the new hired guns for Reigns, that works for me

 

when half your roster is all dives, flips, and kicks, it’s fair to make that assessment.

Tony has nearly nothing announced two hours from show time and a hostile Chicago crowd to try and win over before a week of programming. im real fucking excited for this one.
