Yeah they bumped me up as much as Death Cab did when I saw them live. Good shit

So glad I finally got to see them play Dizzy. Great setlist overall for a co-headliner

First time seeing them. Unreal. They played a mix of the two sets. Was pumped for Dizzy and Blister. Crowd emptied out after them.

My only qualm is I would have taken any other song from Surviving than 555. Never got into that one

As someone who also got 555 on their date, I feel like it's something that works a lot better in the record. Don't get me wrong, I sang my heart out every time that chorus came around, but I would've loved to see something off Damage/Invented/Integrity Blues in it's spot instead. Or even Recommit for the same slow atmospheric Surviving vibe.

I’ve always liked all the way (stay). Would literally go over better than 555

During 555 in Boston, i looked around and nobody was pumped about that song. It was such a mood killer. Was very obvious people weren’t into the song live

555 is a good song and I want to hear it live one day.

Criminal Energy would have been cool. They played it last night. I was hoping they would play it tonight.

Delivery would have been my choice. That might be my favorite from the album.

An inconsequential shift as the continents drift.

Criminal Energy absolutely ripped when I saw them with MCR, song was made for the stage. 555 just isn't that good unfortunately

I’ll be honest here and say I’m not the biggest Jimmy fan though I have a good lasting impression of seeing em on the paramore Riot tour, way throwback. but I like em enough that I went to Buffalo to see em last night. They put on a great show and sounded phenomenal, but I was really excited to hear 555 and bummed I didn’t get to - fans don’t like that song??? That’s surprising to me, it’s such a unique song! Also was really hoping for one of the first 3 songs on chase this light, figured at least one of those would be a set staple!

  14. I’m bummed we still don’t have a new album from these dudes

555 is a great song but definitely killed the vibe live when I saw them. So many other amazing songs to pick from.

Place Your Debts was great live. I much prefer that over Something Loud, but they did play both.

See I would say Place Your Debts was the song that killed the vibe at the buffalo date. Just no one knew it at all. Oh well.

People sadly talked over it during the Boston date but Something Loud slayed. Glad we got both of those songs.

The disinterest during anything Chase This Light onwards was real in Boston. So many people around me talking during Dizzy too. Everything else was well received though; there were a group of men moshing during every Clarity-Futures song. I'm conflicted about it happening during songs that really didn't need a pit going on (Kill lol) but it seemed Jim enjoyed it from his banter with them

When I got to Philly I was shocked to see SO many people sitting on blankets. Like 70% of the crowd. Guessing they were there for Sweetness/Middle.

Yeah I haven’t been to the skyline stage at the Mann since 2014, but nobody was doing that when I saw Jimmy Eat World there in 2013 and The Gaslight Anthem (with JEW actually) in 2014. That’s why I moved closer to the front because I figured those areas were going to be hot spots for talking loudly and drinking

On the CTL note, the crowd around me was pretty dead for Dizzy, but they were into Big Casino. I’m not surprised about either, but the crowd definitely came to life for their more popular songs. I was actually surprised that the crowd around me was visibly into Blister.

Dizzy is a great song too but I’m surprised it made it into the set for this tour.

that's my favorite part about going to see the bands i grew up with, the deepcuts they pull out that are totally unexpected!
