  2. At an amphitheater show that undersold and has lots of empty seats, do any of you have a method that works to let security let you sit in an empty seat if you only have a lawn ticket? (Asking for myself)

If a show is that undersold they just move all the lawn tickets to the pavilions and give free upgrades

At AAR/NFG a couple weeks ago (the shit show), we were right next to the VIP/Box Seats and they were like 75% empty. My wife asked one of the ushers if we could sit in one of them and they said technically no since ticketholders can show up at anytime, but if they're still empty once the headliner comes on, they won't care if we move.

I watched his set at Warped whichever year he was on it, I think you should go. He doesn't take himself seriously at all, the whole thing is very dumb & very fun. Hannibal Buress talks about it in a skit

Yep, same. My friend and I snuck into pavillion for NFG and AAR last week and didn't have any issue.

Yeah, it's just seat map manipulation to make it look more sold than it is. In actuality, those sections are likely almost completely unsold.

  13. i better get there early then so i can persuade security to let me sit in a seated section close enough for Gwar to douse me in fake blood. maybe they'll even let me into the pit. i doubt that's sold very much either haha.

Went to see Ghost and Amon Amarth last night. Legit either a sell out or very very close. But every seat gone, packed lawn all the way to the back. Crazy trajectory that band has been on.

The Get Up Kids/The Starting Line pop-up in Chicago tonight. Cobra Lounge. Doors at 4pm. $20 cash at the door.

If I didn't had plans today to help my wife with stuff I would go there and then drive to Skokie later to see Eve 6

    The intrusive whisper fascinates me

The three-day gap between the LA and the SD date of the AAR tour gives me hope one or more bands do a surprise one-off show in OC. Haha

More bands need to do what TOP did... three nights in a city, club show Friday night, small theatre show Saturday night, arena Sunday.

  22. Yes that would be awesome for fans of those bands, buuuut on the other hand, what about all the bands/artists who are touring and want to come through that city that same weekend? If those venues are all booked up all weekend by one particular band, then everyone else has to skip that area, if there isn’t another venue available.

For anyone in the Dallas area, all the remaining balcony tickets for Please Don’t Destroy are free for tonight’s show at The Factory.
