Tom's backing "doot-doot!" in the pre-chorus needs to be way louder, the live version was so good!

Green Day have always been very anti right wing politics so you’re a little late to the party lol

 

I’ve never really paid enough attention to know lol I’m actually a more recent convert myself so….

 

Sum 41 are a strange one though aren't they? When I saw them on the Disrupt tour I think they co-rotated headliners with Circa, Thrice, The Used. When I saw them in San Diego, they were on early as fuck, before all three of those bands. Maybe it was a one off, but Sum 41 seem so much bigger than the 3 emo bands. Or maybe Sum 41 were just huge in Europe. I don't know if them being Canadian is partly why too.

 

Panic were absolutely huge and seemed to grow after the scene demise. So definitely. I may be chatting shit, but whilst Paramore seem like absolute top tier emo royalty, Panic were just as big, if not bigger? This is partly influenced by me having a younger sister who was like 3 in 2005, but was big into Panic. They seemed to transcend the scene, or capture a particular non-emo crowd, that Paramore didn't?

 

Paramore is better though.

 

Found myself at 00:12. Totally forgot this was the day before Thanksgiving. I had pierced my ears right before we left, but took them out after because I was afraid my family was going to make fun of me the next day.
