That sounds kinda fun, honestly... I might hit up that SLC date.

 

The Offspring's tour came through here a couple weeks ago, but after Simple Plan and Sum 41 played, a big lightning storm came through and they ended up cancelling the rest of the show, so The Offspring didn't play. They rescheduled the date for Sept 7th, but it looks like Simple Plan and Sum 41 aren't listed on the new show poster. I wonder who the openers will be and/or if they'll be different.

 

I was wondering why SP and Sum 41 weren’t playing the rescheduled date. But if they both played their full sets before The Offspring postponed, then that makes sense

 

Six Flags Great Adventure did a music festival during Fright Fest(their annual Halloween event) a few years back and some people got hurt in the pit during Falling in Reverse's set I believe. They said no more music festivals after that incident.

 

People got injured because dumb shit ronnie radket threw three mic stands into the crowd. They should just not book him

you are way undermining that one, the fest got behind and Falling in Reverse got rushed to play. Ronnie was in a bad mood, mic wasn’t working and he launched it in a girls face, hence they never were allowed to do another “metal” show there again.

 

Is it fun that you're the only person in history that was stoked about an Aqua date but is seeing Kenny G that day already?

I posted in the Theme Park thread but if you’re looking for a venue that includes theme park access, all shows at Darien Lake come with free admission to the attached Six Flags park.

Small hack…a day pass to Six Flags is like $50 but you can usually get a lawn ticket to a show on StubHub for like $15-20…just buy that and use it for the park even if you don’t intend on going to the show.
