I've heard these guys are really dodgy? The soap opera continues.

 

Apologies kf this is dumb, but why does MLS giving SD a team mean they are folding? Could they not have a team in both leagues?

 

They own stakes in a lot of clubs in a lot of leagues. At this point... can it be worse?

 

I don’t think they would invest that heavily. They already own Sevilla, Genoa, Hertha Berlin, Standard Liege, Vasco De Gama, and a few more.

None of those clubs are doing particularly well, and one or two are actively in crisis (see Hertha Berlin getting relegated and being bottom of 2. Bundesliga after three games)

 

San Diego itself isn’t really that big and has borders with mountains, international border and Orange County/LA.

The must have seen the inevitability of losing support through the years.
I’m pissed about it. I was gonna support the club as much as possible as long as they were around.

MLS just doesn’t like competition from other leagues at this time. It’s so dumb.

 

Ivan Toney will reportedly have an 80m price tag this January. I still think it makes more sense for a team to buy him now even though he's suspended. He can starting training soon.
