As someone who didn’t get into Copeland until Ixora, revolving doors has been one of my most listened to albums since its release. I’ve since gone back to listen to the older records and I do enjoy them, i can see why they’re still so popular, but they do sound dated so I’ll probably continue to listen to RD more

I love Revolving Doors in part because they were able to make it feel like a cohesive album rather than a compilation.

Stephen has been posting studio pics pretty much daily on his stories and it just makes me so happy. I love Copeland.

I deleted Instagram because it made me feel worse, but this is some of the stuff that gives me fomo!

We reach for the longest shadow

Listening to I Can Make You Feel Young Again for the first time in a while and got floored listening on good speakers. What a tune, and a masterclass in production.

That’s in the conversation for my favorite Copeland song. (As are like 30 others lol)

Trying to rank favorite Copeland songs?! That seems near impossible, kind of like ranking albums

    Contenders would include:
You Have My Attention (played at our wedding)
    When Paula Sparks/California
    Erase
    Careful Now
When You Thought You'd Never Stand Out
In Her Arms You Will Never Starve
    Not So Tough Found Out

I finally listened to Revolving Doors this week. It’s a fun listen and I love “Every Silence” so it was great to revisit it.

While I think some songs a work better than others (and wish there were some more cent stuff on there), the main thing I noticed is that Aaron sounds the best he ever has on here. I really hope the new album produces the vocals in the same way.

Been listening through their discography this morning and remembered those studio photos from a few weeks ago. So happy they continue to make incredible music.

I wonder whether there will be a new iteration of Copeland or if they'll continue the Ixora/Blushing sound.

    this is all there is

Aaron has mentioned a few times that he just isn't into guitar-based music anymore, so I'd expect them to continue down the path of piano and bleep bloops - but maybe he had fun playing guitar on the recent tours and there will be more, who knows. I'm down for either one.

Would love a more guitar-based album in this era of Copeland. Think that would really help me re-engage with their stuff since everything since YAMS is a bit too airy for me to have much replay value.

I always thought Night Figures was a really cool song that blended in a bit more of a heavy sound and was hoping for more along those lines on Blushing.

Listened to In Motion last weekend and “Pin Your Wings” keeps popping into my head.

But ixora is one of the best albums ever made… also lots of guitar on that one!

Definitely a great album, just not my favorite by them nor what I return to most often. Blushing even moreso.

As much as I enjoy it - I find myself reaching for Blushing much less than an Ixora, Eat or Medicine Tree

I think Blushing is their least consistent for me since Medicine Tree but there's still a lot of absolutely wonderful songs on it.
