Hartford Healthcare has a 6k cap, how did they sell 11k tickets to a show that didn't sell out?

Seems weird, but Touche Amore was a band several years before Sleeping With Sirens

If Touche is your example of a "newer" band then there's no new bands. Haha.

TBH, I think the biggest issue with those line-ups is that they look good on paper but there's not enough overlap in-practice to justify the ticket cost. I feel like most people probably only "love" 1-3 bands on the entire bill and since all the bands tour regularly... I'm jut not sure it'll justify it for most people. Not just because of the price but the general time commitment.

Especially when you're talking about a crowd that's going to skew 30+ when it's a full day event... It's going to be hard getting people to commit when they only care about 2-3 artists who are at the level these ones are (and tour as frequently as they do).

Touché Amore is a very very old band lmao. Always fun live tho

    Regular

Having just gone to Iowa Is For Lovers, they are doing everything right. Completely captures the mid 00s warped tour vibe but a little more structured and refined and matured. If you want more newer bands, I think you’re missing the point and draw of the festival.

I think the problem with that lineup is there isn't enough variety. It seems mostly for oldheads (Alkaline, Thrice, Bayside, etc) and there's a limited market. If there were some new scene bands to help beef up Sleeping With Sirens' involvement, I feel like it would've done a little better.

It’s a perfect day for letting go... Supporter

yeah I mean Jeremy was older by hardcore standards when the band started.
I also think a thing like this would work better in smaller markets where those bands don’t tour all the time. I bet a lot of people in LA jsut saw thrice a few months ago where as places in the Midwest or other “flyover” states might have a bigger draw

I NEED some small band to post their name and some tour dates in comic sans font over Trump’s mugshot like 5 minutes after it gets released today

    Newbie

it doesn't help that the cheapest these tickets ever were was the same price as ga pit tickets for sad summer which was less than a month ago.

I've never noticed because their fan base has always seemed to be my age or younger so I know people that want to see touche but that's the only band they actually listen to beyond one or two songs so they're all trying to win tickets but are hesitant to pay $120. it has a really blatant hole where some 2010s pop punk and emo bands should be.
