    The intrusive whisper fascinates me

MxPx doesn’t tour much these days and only does fests, one-offs, and mini tours. They’ve played SoCal a few times over the years, but I think this is their first LA proper show in quite some time. The support helps too. There’s no way they’d headline that venue on their own

New admat for the Bouncing Souls fall/winter tour. Really solid replacements, honestly.

At Sunday's JEW/MO show at the same venue they were upgrading people from lawn, like handing out tickets on the way in.

I'm guessing the same will be happening tonight.

I was admittedly one of those people for a while but, from what I've gathered, if you can get 5-6k people into an ampitheater and they each buy 2 beers/waters/hot dogs, etc. that's better than having a sold out show full of teenagers who buy zero concessions.

are we still lucky to be here? Prestigious

7 Seconds might actually get me to go to the Norfolk show. Anti-Flag was on this before they imploded, right?

I don’t think anyone’s confused about the shed model, it makes sense. However, 3.6k people in a 21k venue is going to look silly regardless of what sales number they intended to hit.

No one thinks it undersold by 17k tickets lol

What I’m surprised by is that Relient k is billed below less than jake

  9. I’m not too surprised. RK hasn’t done much aside from one tour in the past five years. I could see next year being big for them if they go all in on 20 years of MMHMM.

I thought AAR looked fine last night, it was nice to not have lines for sure. Never been to that venue but it was pretty cool

All the bands crushed though. NFG was top tier per usual

Yeah, A-F was previously on the line-up.

And I would have considered all of these new direct supports (7 Seconds, Strike Anywhere, the Pietasters, Bad Cop/Bad Cop) to be a 200% improvement even before the allegations.

Well here’s a first. The No Bragging Rights show in Denver tonight has been canceled because as they put it “Pantera tour is in town and everyone is going to thay instead.”

Respectfully, they shouldn't be doing a headline tour. I think of them as a so cal regional hc band. But everyone and their mama in hc are touring right now and riding the wave of attention hc is getting.

I did think it was weird when they announced a reunion headliner. I just think they came a long at the wrong time. They would be huge if they can around today. That being said the tour lineup is really good. Mugshot, mouth for war, and your spirit dies all have a good amount of buzz right now.

Oh dude, so many bands see how well vinyl and merch move these days and are clamoring to get back in the game, and I think that's part of it.

Even my old high school hc band had talks about getting together after seeing how popular Sunami got.

I honestly don’t think this is going to hurt her that music. I feel like the rap audience has a lot more leniency about that kind of stuff.
