I refuse to believe

 

Cardinals are tied for last in the division currently and obviously have spent a good amount of time in last this year. If we actually finish in last place it will be the first time that happens in NL Central history

Major caveat that there have been 6 teams in the Central about half the time it’s existed but STILL this is the last time the Cardinals finished last in any division (1990; two years before I was born)
