I don't think I have a good answer for this because frankly I don't know what I want out of a remake.

While there's good reason to modernize the controls, the fact that the game is clunky (hi Moose) adds a lot to the tension and the atmosphere. Obviously I don't want the story changed but if you're asking modern AAA prices for it you need to re-write everything and make it look and feel like a triple A game.

So I think a treatment like RE2-4 have gotten is out of the question, a straight up uprez would be foolish (and has been tried and failed).

I genuinely think this is one of the games that should just be lost in the annals of time.

But if someone had to do it, there are 2 developers I trust: KojiPro and Creative Assembly and MAYBE Frictional (yes) or The Chinese Room.

 

Some people on Steam were saying Bluepoint, which I could see from the perspective that a developer doesn’t necessarily need a horror background if they're just good at remaking what's already there.

 

I mean Bluepoint is dope but I don't want the game to be trapped on a Sony platform ;)

Before I start anything new, I told my brother I’d start the world tour mode in SF6 so we can talk about it. Wow, this is like an open world fighting game RPG. Really enjoying it so far. I’m not good at fighting games, but if I reach a roadblock, I can always grind cause you can literally walk up to someone and fight them.

yeah i hope SH2 remake is good and it looks better than anything has in that series since after 4. i agree bloobers og games are suck. but if the remakes not good then, “its always like this for me”. :/

Just found out Kena has a queer storyline. Have a copy and just haven’t gotten to it yet, but that’ll shoot it up my list of games I want to play next.

About to finish FFXVI finally, Spider-Man 2018 will probably be next because I already started it but maybe Kena after that
