Dan was already doing the tour as second guitar. The ADTR guy is Chad’s back up.

man i wish they would cut their covers already, they have SUCH a big discography and so many songs get left out that I'd love to hear live. especially drop kiss me, I'm over that one for sure, king of wishful thinking rips but id still prefer to hear original material over cover songs any day.

Yea, I’m pretty anti cover songs live. NFG has at least made covers a big part of their discography, so I give them a little more leeway on it haha

IDK. Most people that are there for AAR would know enough NFG songs that wouldn’t warrant cover songs. 2 is definitely too many for a supporting slot. I’m just over them doing the same ones over and over. Gimme some other ones.

(I also say this as someone who thinks this was one of their best sets: New Found Glory Setlist at House of Blues, San Diego )

Nobody has posted setlists for any of the bands tonight yet. I assume the show still hasn’t started based off last night.

23punk was live streaming the NFG set a while ago on ig. When I tuned in they were playing selfless

Songs started to show up on setlist.fm for NFG now, too.

Setlist FM has they playing three covers in a 12 song set. That is ridiculous lol

They probably did play three covers, but that setlist isn’t accurate cause they definitely played selfless tonight lol

it would be cooler to do the songs when they tour with said bands, like if they did a run with TBS bust out love fool and have adam come out for his part OR do a run with cartel and have will come out for Iris, now that would be something to see, but every show since i can remember its always kiss me =/ and ive seen them over 35 times now since 2004! granted that cover came out in 07, but i feel like its been played at 90% of my nfg shows lol

That’s the anniversary tour where they played full albums. They did the two ep’s with the self titled that night.

oh ok thats neat! ive never heard any if most of those old covers live. in Chicago they did 3 shows back-to-back but it was just albums, SO much fun though, Chad said they played 66 songs within 3 nights here, and Jordan only messed up lyrics on the last night haha Chad was like you were doing so good!!! i forgot what song he flubbed but we all laughed.

they did sticks and stones/coming home
    catalyst/nothing gold can stay
    not without a fight/self titled

it was weird going to the same venue 3 nights in a row, but i ran into SO many friends at that shows, a lot of friends who dont generally go to shows came out for those, so that was a treat as well!

It was the 2017 tour where they celebrated 20
years as a band. This was night two which was FTSTYS 1&2 plus self titled.

This was my third time seeing them that year.

thats a cool set, i didnt know they played those EPs on any of those dates, i thought it was all just full length albums, i know most cities got only one show maybe two, but chicago was luckily to get 3!

    New-Found-Glory.png

according to this flyer they did 5 other cities with 3 shows besides mine.

Went to the NFG/AAR show on Tuesday. It was PACKED. Wasn't sold out but that venue is massive (17.5k cap) and almost all the seats were full + lawn was crowded.

Amazing show, def check out if it comes to your city.

EDIT: Friend who works at venue mentioned 15k+ tickets sold.

I was semi-disappointed with the acoustic show, this was holy amazing. Sounded great, Jordan was spot on, emotional performance and the crowd was super into it. Def go!

They played it when I saw them at I think Webster Hall, I forget which venue it was in NYC, in like 2000. The best part was Chad saying "There should be a solo here, but I don't know how to play it" during the solo.

Insane that they sold 15K in tickets. Glad this tour seems to be doing well at least in a bigger market.

They also sold out Raleigh the other night, albeit a much smaller venue (6k cap).

The lawn is closed and unable to be purchased for my show Monday. Assuming they will be handing out seated comps for lawn ticket purchasers

The fact they were able to sell 15k tickets in the middle of Jersey on a Tuesday night makes me scratch my head as to why they skipped over NYC for this.
Forest Hills Stadium would've been perfect.
