AAR essentially cut half their set. Whole show was wild to watch play out

They ended up comp upgrading everyone from the lawn to the seats and closed off the lawn. Shed was pretty full. (Not as a result of the delay issues, to clarify.)

a lot of people here who I don’t think even realize how much NFG and AAR cut. Both got all the hits in and did not visibly struggle on stage before going on like GUK and TSL did.

What a shitty start. Jesus... I'd be asking for money back.

Just got back to my hotel room.
It was a shit show for sure, but I think the bands were honestly sorry for the technical issues and the cut sets. I would love to know what caused the whole thing to snowball like that.
Hopefully the bad omens are over and the tour will have smoother sailing after tonight.

And it was fun sharing the mania with you all!

i love New Found Glory, but goddamn
10 albums + and they still waste their set time with cover songs
2-3 covers last summer on the Sticks & Stones tour. 19 song set. just play your own songs

Yeah NFG’s setlist is super disappointing and they need to cut it with the covers. You don’t need covers to win the crowd this tour. Everyone knows who you are. Lol

Crowd was super into the covers though. Anything post 2004 Crowd died down for. Love New found glory. But you could easily tell who there for aar and who was there for nfg.

Basically everyband said they would do a headliner though next year.

Guessing 25th anniversary of something to write home about for the get up kids.
The starting line mentioned a headliner coming to Tampa
And AAR said they wanted to do this tour idea again next year

Music, a steady riot in my soul. Prestigious

Echoing the same sentiments that the show last night was not a great experience. Kind of wild because I was there Wednesday for Counting Crowd and Dashboard Confessional, and it was easily the best experience I’ve had at that venue whereas last night was easily the worst experience.

i tore a hole in the fabric of time Moderator

I’m at the Renaissance tour on a Saturday night in Atlanta, and it’s absolutely wild seeing how badly dynamic pricing and bots affected the crowd. Huge swaths of empty seats.

Sounds like Four Chord Fest was a train wreck because of weather…

For anyone in the New Jersey area, we do these shows at my house in Toms River (not far from Asbury Park!) Going to be a lot of fun, message me or check out our instagram for more info (The Kill Shed)!

Yeah it was, origami Angel had to cut over half their set, the Maine had to cut their last 2 songs, waterparks got delayed (thankfully) but then got to do a few songs before the torrential downpour

Then it got really bad and everyone had to find shelter, so Andrew’s set was clearly not happening. But about an hour or more into that he posted he was gonna play a few songs acoustic at a Mexican restaurant down the street so got to see that at least lol

Then by the time it cleared up we got back to the festival and they had TBS do a few acoustic songs and then yellowcard got to play full band but only got to play the hits from Ocean Avenue

shitty situation but at least made the best out of it lol

My neighbor was at the show and she said that, aside from the hits and the new album, all the songs were just one verse one chorus
