Are they using new found glorys drums.? Definitely about to get some short sets

 

Definitely looks like their drums. I have no idea what’s going on lol

Update- they’ve covered NFG’s drums and brought in TSL’s drums. Looks like they never got to do soundcheck earlier and doing it all now. At this rate, I don’t see the show starting until 8:15 at the earliest. Close to 90 minutes late.

 

The drama. Keep us posted!

 

7:43 Update- Get Up Kids are starting. They did their full soundcheck themselves in about 10 minutes and just went into their set. So we’re about an hour delayed so we’ll see how that affects the set times.

 

7:48. The main speakers have died and all we hear are the monitors.

 

Sounds like a great kick off for this tour

 

7:58. Get Up Kids are done. They played 15 minutes, 12 of which were just out of the monitors.

This tour didn’t start until now? What were those videos I saw of NFG playing a stadium earlier this year?

So the issue appears to be with the signal from the stage to the mix area. The music they’re playing sound fine out of the line arrays, but whenever they switch to the stage audio, it sounds like loud ocean waves lol. They’re still setting up TSL so we’ll see how this goes.

 

8:18. TSL is soundchecking and everything is working!

 

I'm guessing we're about to get another 4 song starting line set. But hey at least we can hear them

 

TSL had a bunch of monitor issues soundchecking and someone came out told them they had to start anyway. They’re playing now and you can’t hear one of the guitars. Sound guys are trying to mix on the fly.

 

How disappointing

 

You basically can only hear the bass, drums and vocals. It's so disappointing. And looks like a 4 song set.

 

how is this happening at a venue this size lol

 

That seems like a bad omen…

 

These venues are usually just shells. The tours bring all their own equipment.

Yep, 4 songs from TSL. 8:30-8:45.

 

Maybe NFG will get 5 songs
