of all the times ive seen them i think last night was the hardest ive ever seen them go for shake it out. also two biggest set highlights were cope and the silence.

 

so gutted I'm missing out on this tour due to a combo of vacation and work schedule. two of my most favorite bands

Apparently Andy announced at the show tonight

"I regret to inform you that this will be our last show in Asheville ever"

Definitely reads like a joke Andy would make in that situation

 

thats about 10 more words than he spoke at the Red Rocks show. haha. not sure he said a word actually

 

They were great when I saw them in San Diego last week, it was worth the madness of trying to find parking down there in the middle of Comic Con. Even my wife who is a huge Jimmy Eat World fan said MO put on the better show

 

Had no idea William Fitzsimmons was a fan.

 

Seeing them tonight!

 

Well this smacked me HARD in my feelings this morning.

 

So surprised. At red rocks it seemed 60/40 Jimmy to Manchester fans but at this Minneapolis show it seems 20/80 Jimmy to Manchester fans. Energy was very low for Jimmy outside of the hits. Wonder if it has to do with who is the closer or maybe it’s the demographic

 

the teams of each band know who gets more play in which markets (spotify analytics, etc.) which is how they decided who closes out.

 

Honestly was very disappointed in the Minneapolis crowd. Mostly polite. Outside of one guy who was drunk and talked the entire time and everyone was too polite to tell him to shut up.

but I swear that 90% of the crowd only knew The Middle, Sweetness, and The Gold. Such a low energy crowd and barely anyone was singing along. During the crowd cutaway parts of shake it out or end of the world it sounded like 9 people sang with me in the crowd.

I've never been to a JEW show where majority of the crowd wasn't only there for the middle and sweeteness and talked through the rest of the set

 

totally agree with this! Hate having a drawer full of black shirts lol

 

MO vinyl is 25-30, depending on venue.
