I hope whoever this guy is dies:

"and for this to only become public decades later in the final month of a campaign for president should say it all.”

Trump reels as more accusers emerge

Speaking of HBO movies, was 'All the Way' any good? I've always been pretty interested in LBJ, my grandpa grew up in the same region of Texas that he did. He said most people there were ashamed of him / viewed him as a traitor for "supporting" the Civil Rights movement.

If I could just forget it

Wouldn't it be nice to see a quarter of the outrage at Trump directed instead against our suicidal foreign policy? Instead I see people mourning over the last 100 days of an Obama presidency, which might just be the last 100 days period. If only he would take the Pentagon with him.

    Oh, and this is fun:

RAF ready to shoot down Russian aircraft over Syria | The Sunday Times

Edit: This article is from LAST year because I can't read.

I remember when Romney was mocked during the 2012 season for his comments about Russia being our most significant geopolitical enemy.

So do I, but I don't know what that would have meant. Perhaps he would have respected them a bit more and backed off in Syria? I doubt that. At the very least it might have stymied our ambitions in the ME for a time as Obama's people were moved out and his were brought in. Counterfactuals are hard.

Can a third party take enough blue states to make it 420 to 69?

I'm not sure he would have done a better job or anything I'm just saying that he said it and was mocked for it. At the very least, he understood something that Obama and his camp did not.

Nah it's from Twitter itself. Third party apps can't change that much haha. If I follow someone, I can turn off their retweets. But if I'm not following them, I can't. Even if I put them on a list.

I've spoken to some Trump supporters today (welcome to working in the middle of White NJ (I HATE IT SO SO MUCH)
They pretty much universally are rejecting the claims of each of the dozens of women who have come forward so far, saying they were all paid off by the Clitons or just people trying to discredit Trump to make him lose the election. One even said Clinton herself has done 10 times worse to women.

I'm just so tired of this election cycle at this point. More than 30% of the country standing by a serial abuser and victim-blaming or calling into question his victims' veracity.

This was on TV when I was at lunch. A trump supporter pointed to the screen and said, "You see her. That's why Hillary cannot be president."

  16. "Nah, that's why she will be."

    And a wink.

"In seeking to explain Trump’s appeal, proportionate media coverage would require more stories about the racism and misogyny among white Trump supporters in tony suburbs. Or, if we’re examining economically driven bitterness among the working class, stories about the Democratic lawmakers who in recent decades ended welfare as we knew it, hopped in the sack with Wall Street and forgot American labor in their global trade agreements.

But, for national media outlets comprised largely of middle- and upper-class liberals, that would mean looking their own class in the face....
It wasn’t poor whites who criminalized blackness by way of marijuana laws and the “war on drugs”.

Nor was it poor whites who conjured the specter of the black “welfare queen”.

These points should not minimize the horrors of racism at the lowest economic rungs of society, but remind us that those horrors reside at the top in different forms and with more terrible power.

Among reporters and commentators this election cycle, then, a steady finger ought be pointed at whites with economic leverage: social conservatives who donate to Trump’s campaign while being too civilized to attend a political rally and yell what they really believe."

Dangerous idiots: how the liberal media elite failed working-class Americans

If Clinton wanted to sink Trump by paying women to accuse him of rape that would be monumentally stupid, considering his supporters clearly don't care what he does and who he does it to.

As far as your comment to party loyalty, I mean, are we pretending there aren't abused women laying in the Clintons' wake? Bill's past with sexual assault has always been painted in sort of a satirical shade, remember this meme (probably posted in the old ap politics forum once or twice)?

Instead of a full-throated condemnation of of Bill's sexual assaults, it's written off as "Oh Bill, you sly dog you"
