Just double checked, I paid $36 for Knuckle Puck / Hot Mulligan / MM@TA / Anxious in March '22. And paid $23 in December '21 for HM / P Daddy / Sincere Engineer / Super American. I know everybody's gotta eat, but damn. $23 in a 700 cap room in Dec '21, $47 in a 1100 cap only 2 years later

I'm not into Hot Mulligan, really. But I was all-in on going just to see Spanish Love Songs and Heart Attack Man, maybe sticking around for a song or two from HM but... Yeah. I'm'a skip it with those prices. Hah.

Along with gas prices and how expensive everything is I feel like $40+ is just the price of touring these days. Plus, maybe they're giving their support a bigger cut. From the chatter here yesterday, HAM and SLS have a strong draw so maybe they're just helping the other gang out.

I mean the prices are similar to what I paid for the TWY tour at the same venue. The prices aren’t that crazy considering they are playing venues that are more expensive to book.

  5. I paid $33 after fees for an Armor For Sleep/Early November ticket, and the venue is just a block away from me so I can just walk there. :nails:

Yeah I'm scratching my head at these comments, I was stoked to see it at only $41 after fees.

People were paying $100 for lawn tickets to see FOB in Toronto on the weekend

Wild, I got lawn tickets for like $6 the day of the show to see them in San Diego on the same tour

Man, I wish. I paid $58 face value for lawn the day they went on sale because the cheapest seat was like $115. Tickets up here for any medium to large sized shows are out of control

Honestly would have been worth it. What an incredible show that was.

It doesn't always happen, but if you wait until the week of or even day of you can get some incredibly cheap resale tickets to shows.

That's very reasonable given the venue and that it's NYC.

Oh yeah, oh yeah, everything is terrible.

I had a lawn ticket too but kept an eye on resale tickets that didn't move and just snuck into those seats :shhh:

$45 is essentially a free show nowadays.

I wouldn't have said anything if my tickets were $40, that would make sense. Mine are almost $50.
I saw TWY at Webster (1,500 cap) for the same price as this HM show, & they did 2 album plays.
I'm not including seeing them at fests, Sad Summer was only $25 but that's warranted considering the scale of that event

    2018 - $22.55 - Le Poisson Rouge - 700 cap (Trophy Eyes / Seaway / Microwave / Can't Swim / Hot Mulligan)
2020 - $25.92 - Music Hall of Williamsburg - 650 cap (Grayscale / Hot Mulligan / WSTR / Lurk) Music Hall of Williamsburg
    2021 - $47.15 - Pier 17 - 3,400 cap (New Found Glory / Less than Jake / Hot Mulligan / LOLO)
    2021 - $23.07 - Le Poisson Rouge - 700 cap (Hot Mulligan / P Daddy / Sincere Engineer / Super American)
    2022 - $37 - Irving Plaza - 1,100 cap (Knuckle Puck / Hot Mulligan / MM@TA / Anxious)
    2023 - $47 - Irving Plaza - 1,100 cap (Hot Mulligan / Heart Attack Man / Spanish Love Songs / Ben Quad)

I live here & go to shows here constantly, I've kept track of every show I've been to in the past decade, I know how much it should cost to see everyone that I see, where I see them. Just in the past few months... The Summer Set in that same room was $41, Aqua was$64.50, T-Pain was $68. A Hot Mulligan headlining show at Irving Plaza being almost $50 is really high, no one else has had their ticket prices increase 100% in 2 years, which was the same amount that it was pre-covid.

Its wild seeing some of these price increases, when these acts tour with next to no production.

I guess....if it was $70 with fees I can understand how that would be an eyebrow raise. $47 vs, like, $35 is really not that big of a deal in my opinion. Don't forget there are 3 bands on the bill.

I think you’re underestimating the demand for Hot Mulligan. The price is only high in comparison to their shows the past few years because they’ve blown up.

That's the point I'm trying to make. I know things cost more, that's what happens. This increase is crazy
