Just finished Twisted Metal; lags a bit in the center, but finishes up decently well. For sure sets up a season 2

 

shudder is now increasing its price too. why is every streaming service getting more expensive

 

well technically speaking there's only so many subscribers each service can get and I'm sure some of them have reached a peak sub count or are getting close. Either they up the cost per sub or include more and more ads, sucks either way for consumers

 

hopefully to pay their employees more, but probably not, ha.

Part of the price increases I think is media measurements companies just now realized that streaming is going to get to more than 50% of the tv screen time market share way way faster than they initially predicted ( right now it's 35-40% vs linear TV) and everyone is scrambling to pivot to catch up to that model being dominant. I think that is what is fueling a lot of stuff going on in media right now.

I watched an entire internal company wide meeting all about this last night.

Does Netflix crash anyone else’s television? Moves incredibly slow and if I can get a movie or show to start, the app crashes one minute or so in
