My phrasing was probably a little disrespectful to Bayern. And I would say the same thing about City. I think I actually did make the same argument two years ago lol

I just think with Kane specifically there is so much talk about how he never wins anything whenever his greatness is brought up. And I don’t agree that winning a league title at Bayern makes his overall career any greater even though the talk around that happening will be so.

Like the example with City. They tried all summer to get him. They didn’t. They still won the next two titles anyways lol

 

But honestly, signing a CB seems to be just as hard as winning a trophy for Spurs. We're pathetic.

 

Speaking of Bayern, I like their new away kit.

i know the traditionalists hate it, and some others think it's a little too our there, but damn i love it. i have been waiting until the year after to buy the kit when it goes on sale, but i might pay full price for this one.

 

I'm a sucker for a black jersey with a bright color as an accent. Usually looks great.

I don’t believe anyone seriously thinks Harry Kane can’t be considered a great just because he hasn’t won a trophy, but I think it’s an easy stick to beat him with.

And I don’t think scoring a load of goals and winning a domestic double at Bayern is more impressive than scoring 30+ goals with a mediocre Tottenham team.

But as a great player, he deserves to win something, and he gave Spurs about 4 years longer than he should have. He won’t play in Europe with Spurs, and he probably won’t get anything above Europa the year after. He’s making the right decision to move on, for his own career.
