Ngl at this point it would be actually pretty awesome if they released album in October with Edging being only one single out before album drops.

Give us one progressive and out-there track that blows our minds and a month or two to let speculation run wild about the rest of the album in contrast to the new one and Edging. Then one last singe that is a classic punk rock ripper a week before the album drops. Best case scenario.

I have been cool with nothing during the tour, but I will be bummed if the release date is later than October. A blink release in winter or spring feels wrong to me.

 

This thread confuses me half the time. Haha, I would not expect progressive "out there" tracks or punk rock rippers. It's still blink-182!

Didn't Neighborhoods also come out in the fall/winter? or did it just feel like it was dark and cold because the album was garbage and was the first time I ever disliked something by my favorite band?

Guys we are getting an announcement next Tuesday, August 1st on the 31st anniversary of blink being created.

 

Anyone think they'll plan something for Untitled's 20th? With a potential new album release in late October, I'm leaning towards "no", but they all consider it their best album and I remember how epic the 10 Year Anniversary shows were.

They are going to be tired after the string of European shows this fall as well so I wonder if they'll just chalk it up to a merch drop (typical).

I doubt that they'd push the album release date for anything special with Untitled's 20th, but part of me is worried something cool DOES happen because I'll be smack in the middle of my honeymoon.

 

They'll celebrate it by Tom leaving the band again. What better way to commemorate the occasion?

 

Nah I don’t see how/why they would do anything Untitled related with a new album that’s suppose to drop weeks before it.

 

I think a merch drop makes sense, but that's probably it. Maybe a vinyl repressing, but I can't see them putting anything new into it.

I’m not up on all of the stuff going on but it sure is eerily similar in messaging to Tom’s endless teasing in some of the news interviews post hearing. “This is just the beginning. Just wait until we can finally disclose EVERYTHING”
