I’m glad I’m not alone in this struggle.

 

LLL will get repressed. It may be the 10 year anniversary, but it’s going to happen. I’m holding out. I do have American Candy, You Are Ok, and XOXO on vinyl. Just got Pioneers in the mail (this album got me back into them).

 

With Sad Summer coming up, I’m hoping someone can ask The Maine what’s up with supporting/interacting with All Time Low and playing multiple festivals with them in 2022 and that reverb fest in August (and won’t gatekeep the answer because someone already talked to them about it but won’t tell anyone what they said)

At first I understood the 2/3? Festivals they were playing with them last year because they were like bigger Fests that have been around for years but this reverb one wasn’t even planned until February? I also tried to give them the benefit of the doubt and MAYBE they just forgot to unfollow ATL but both Jared and John have positively interacted with them about their new music.

For a band that’s always been open with fans and taken feedback positively, they really just ignored (except for Pats passive aggressive Insta story last month reposting that Riot Fest tweet) their fans that have zero tolerance for both abusers and All Time Low :(

so HOPEFULLY someone can clear this entire ATL situation during sad summer and report back to the fans waiting to see where they stand. I miss my favourite band but I also don’t fuck with people who associate with All Time Low. I haven’t even listened to Blame or Exit. I really really want them to tell a fan they don’t support ATL so I can celebrate an album called The Maine on 8.1.23.

does anyone else have a hard time listening to them the last 2 months or just me?

 

This band is so remarkably consistent. These two new ones feel like such classic Maine songs to me already.

How to exit a room is one of the best songs they've done it's honestly painful they're not playing it on Sad Summer, I hope we get that fall tour announcement as soon as the festival is over

 

Cannot believe how soon this album is coming out. Dying to hear the rest.

Yeah album is out on 8/1. That new clip sounds excellent. Need to avoid hearing anything else now that we're so close to the release date.

 

This is going to be a bop. The clips from Miserable Youth were insane. These guys just don't miss, ever.. maybe except for Black and White and parts of Forever Halloween, but those are other stories.

I didn’t realize this was out on a Tuesday.

 

The only reason they did that was for the 8123 significance. Since they have their own label, they can do what they want in this instance. If they were signed anywhere else, i'm sure the label would likely force them to release on a Friday like everything else. Not complaining though! Happy we get this earlier in the week.

 

Wish it came out this Friday haha generally assuming it will be out on the interwebs by the weekend end.

 

Took all of work off next week so I'm very excited this will be out. Plus I'm glad it's not next Friday cus that's during Lollapalooza and I wouldn't be able to give it appropriate attention.

(This Friday would've been perfect indeed though)
