The 2020 Invisible Man ruled so hard. Need more Leigh Whannell movies

 

Watched this last night, first premiered on ABC Halloween night 1978 directed by Wes Craven, aka Summer of Fear when released theatrically. A fun, cozy little watch.

far from perfect, but the last F13 was by far the best slasher game ever. The movie accurate houses were awesome and the music and Jason models were on point . And the bugs were the hilarious kind.

 

I think the new Exorcist looks fun

 

The writer of Halloween kills and firestarter being involved has me very concerned though

 

Ah. Touché. I haven’t looked into it at all so yeah, that is a bit concerning

 

Just wanna gush about this movie a little more. It should definitely be included on Summer Horror lists. Also, I just learned that the summer house the family stays in is the same building in Phantasm!

I honestly don't know that I have seen The Witch since it's initial release in theaters. Should probably revisit that at some point! Hereditary is #1 for me but then it's some mix of The Blackcoat's Daughter, Under the Skin, Midsommar, Green Room, and Pearl. Want to consider Lanthimos's stuff as well but they aren't as straightforward genre stuff. Well, neither is Green Room now that I think about it. IDK.

Rewatched Tusk last week for the first time in years since it's leaving Max soon. I'm still lukewarm on it as a whole, but I have to say that the sounds Justin Long makes as the walrus are downright terrifying.
